First
presented by the RSC, The Shakespeare Revue gathers the
finest songs and sketches inspired by the life and works of
William Shakespeare, and shakes them together into a sparkling
cabaret cocktail that will delight young and old alike.
With
contributions from over forty writers, including Alan Bennett,
Noël Coward, Fry and Laurie, Victoria Wood, Tom Lehrer
and Stephen Sondheim, this hilarious celebration of the Bard
will enthral, entrance and entertain.
But
you don't have to be a Shakespeare scholar to enjoy this comic
concoction - it bubbles over with wit, glitz and irreverent
fun throughout!
